Tim is the President & CEO of Pioneer Construction. Since 1995, Tim has been personally involved with construction administration for projects exceeding $500 million in volume. Tim’s extensive construction experience, industry knowledge, and unique approach to servant leadership is respected throughout the organization and community.

Chris re-joined Pioneer Construction in 2009 as the Director of Business Development & Sales. With an impressive background in real estate planning, development, brokerage, and management Chris brings a unique perspective to our client-focused construction delivery process. He focuses on developing both new and existing client relationships.

Larry has been with Pioneer since 1976 and serves as Vice President of Field Operations. In this capacity, Larry oversees  human and equipment resource allocation to ensure every project is completed on-time and in-budget. His extensive construction experience lends a guiding hand for means and methods analysis and constructability reviews.

Scott Veine serves as the Director of Sustainability and has been with Pioneer since 1997. Scott is a LEED Accredited Professional, member of the Precast Concrete Institute, and has a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from Ferris State University. Scott oversees our sustainability initiatives and corporate LEED program.

Brian Blocher serves as  Director of Safety and has been with Pioneer since 1995. Brian is on the MIOSHA Rules Promulgation Committee and has completed OSHA 500 & 501 training. He oversees our Safety Accountability Program including employee orientation and training, project specific safety plan development, and jobsite safety inspections.

Bob VanderHave serves as Chief Estimator for Pioneer. Bob is a veteran construction estimator with over thirty-five years of experience in the industry. He oversees the estimating department and personally estimates hard dollar quotes for complex projects. Mr. VanderHave is also an Estimating Instructor for the American Society of Professional Estimators.

Paul Bergsma serves as Director of Pre-Construction Services. Paul is a LEED AP and has worked as a Superintendent, Project Manager, and Senior Administrator since beginning in the industry in 1976. Paul's unique and collaborative approach to Pre-Construction planning focuses on value-engineered and Life Cycle Cost analysis.

Mike Bouman leads Pioneer’s Architectural and Engineering Services Team. Mike is a LEED Accredited Professional, Professional Engineer, and graduate of the Structural Engineering program at Michigan Technological University. Mike provides shop drawing and submittal review for our project teams and also serves as Lead Architect on our Design/Build projects.

As the Chief Financial Officer for Pioneer Construction, Randy is responsible for managing risk, financial planning, data analysis and reporting. Randy has been with Pioneer since 1985 and served as President from 2001-2004. He also represents Pioneer in our community including a professorship in accounting at Grace Bible College.

Doug is the President of Pioneer Erectors, and has been with Pioneer Construction since 1977. He manages all aspects of structural steel, pre-engineered metal, and pre-cast concrete erection services. His vast construction experience and logistical ability is critical to ensuring safe and timely delivery of every structure.
